Factor #1Large corporate farms utilize pesticides for the ease of eliminating pests. However, these affect bees as well, which are integral to the pollination of flowers, which actually help them reproduce and grow.

Factor #2GMOs, or genetically modified organisms, are prominent in modern farming. Many of the GMO crops produce chemicals known to be life-threatening to bees.

Factor #3Global warming has lead to temperature increases and ultimately an effect on agricultural farming. Many species of bees, like the honeybee and European bee, are affected worldwide. Climate change affects nectar and pollen development, either blooming at the wrong season or none at all.
